SDE II – Python

As a software development engineer, you’ll be working to design and develop new and existing new systems for machine learning and computer vision-based video analysis. You will work closely with our team of civil engineers, product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to contribute to our research and technology development.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-year professional experience with Python
  • Experience with Linux and bash scripting
  • Working knowledge of Git (Bitbucket)
  • Working knowledge of Docker
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of agile methodologies

Agile Project Manager / Business Analyst

The project manager is responsible for facilitating project planning, execution, and reporting across multiple related projects. They will lead efforts in gathering business and product requirements, work with the team to compose requirements into a prioritized backlog, and provide reporting and insights for release planning and iterative improvement.

As an individual contributor, this role will hold the standard scrum meetings, assist teams in achieving refined backlogs, remove impediments, and enable continuous evolution of our planning and release processes.

Responsibilities

Agile Coach: Acts as a subject matter expert in modeling Agile values and helps the Product Managers understanding value-based prioritization in an Agile environment

Requirements Gathering: Coordinate efforts with the AMAG management team, product owners, and clients to collect and refine product requirements

Facilitator: 

  • Establish a schedule of recurring meetings (sprint planning, review, retrospective, backlog refinement)
  • Assist in coordinating backlog prioritization and changing requirements in active sprints

Forecasting: Track team metrics (sizing, velocity) to provide insights for release planning

Qualifications

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent

AWS DevOps Engineer

Expert level in Infrastructure & Application architecting in AWS Cloud including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.

  • 5+ years’ experience designing, executing and supporting AWS Cloud with hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Infrastructure & Application architecting in AWS Cloud including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field.

  • Enable scalability of technical infrastructure
  • Lead team’s application deployment strategy and integration with 3rd party systems and application frameworks
  • Assist in planning and delivery of AWS cloud architecture solutions to support requirements of AMAG projects and platforms
  • Continuously manage, monitor, and update architecture as business and product needs evolve

Lead QA Test Engineer

Skills

Expert software testing, test automation, continuous integration & deployment

Testing

  • Experience with Selenium or other automation framework

  • Knowledge of continuous integration & delivery software and methodologies

  • Lead Quality Assurance efforts on the AMAG engineering and product development teams
  • Define and build automation test strategies
    • Develop expertise in business and technical functionality of AMAG’s platform, consult frequently with subject matter experts on the team to develop and refine AMAG’s QA strategy
    • Develop detailed and comprehensive test plans for multiple products, implement and execute manual and automated testing for functional, integration, regression testing and production validation
  • Assist with analytics collection and report on performance bottlenecks, risk assessments, defect reports to aid business and development teams in product development
