Salma graduated from Ain Shams Univerity with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering. After that, she had an internship in Valeo in the ADAS responsible for the LiDAR sensor in self-driving cars. This experience gave Salma the chance to gain knowledge in embedded systems design, testing, and validation; as well as an opportunity to work on high-level designs and develop them to improve the quality of her code. She was working as a freelancer for 3+ years in mobile application development and translation in order to hone her skills before joining AMAG as a computer vision engineer. Salma is also currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the University of Ottawa in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
