Mike Griffith is an internationally recognized transport safety expert with over three decades of experience in the field. He recently retired from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) after a distinguished career, where he played a pivotal role in shaping road safety policies and initiatives in addition to a role as Chair of the Transportation Research Board’s Safety and Operations Group. Mike’s expertise lies in understanding the contributing factors of road-related deaths and injuries, and he has championed the adoption of proactive approaches to address these challenges. He is a strong advocate for the Safe System Approach, a holistic framework that prioritizes the safety of all road users. Mike joins AMAG as President of AMAG North America, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience to lead the company’s expansion in the region.
